Panorama of the view from the peak of Sighignola (1320 mt), also said Balcone d'Italia; from the right the city of Lugano and its lake (Switzerland), Lake Maggiore, Lake Varese and on the background Monte Rosa (Italy).
There are a total of 7 lakes that can be seen from there °A°
The ruin on the left had to be a cableway that had to link Italy to Switzerland (Lanzo - Campione d'Italia), but it was abandoned in 1970.
I've been lucky it was a beautiful sunny (but so cold) day, usually there's always fog XD >>> EDIT: see here
